Inner railings
Vital Kamýk, Prague
On the Vital Kamýk residential project we supplied a complete set of locksmith elements including balcony and staircase railings, dividing walls, shelters and other related structures. It was important to combine safety, functionality and a clean look across the public and private spaces.
We designed the solution in close relation to the architectural concept of the house. We tailored each element to the operation of the building, the privacy requirements and the overall visual sobriety of the façade.
Residence Erbenova, Prague
On the project Rezidence Erbenova we supplied a complex set of locksmith elements for a residential building in Smíchov. The implementation included external railings, internal staircases and other related elements that had to be coordinated with the architecture of the building and the interior detail requirements.
The project is important to us mainly because of the scope and variability of delivery. In addition to the communal areas, we also tackled the mezzanine staircases, where clean detail, precise anchoring and quality craftsmanship were key.
The Flow Building Václavské náměstí 47
On The Flow Building project, we carried out a complete delivery of steel and locksmith constructions, including the steel structure for the so-called crown of the building, which carries an architecturally distinctive, shape-demanding façade rising above the line of Wenceslas Square. This part of the construction placed extraordinary demands on precision manufacturing, tolerance control and coordination with the author of the facade design. As part of the project, we also supplied more than 300 metres of all-glass railings on the roof terraces, internal railings on the staircases and other related locksmith elements throughout the building.
House of the Communards XXXV
On the site of two apartment buildings that could not withstand the onslaught of the 2002 flood, Stanislav Fiala designed this unique house, which has been missing in Holešovice until now. The house offers 40 residential units and a two-storey ground floor with a showroom.
Abadia contributed to this project mainly by supplying the original railings, which are made of concrete reinforcement (so-called roxors), and the facade made of cor-ten sheets (patinated steel). The process of designing and manufacturing the individual elements and thinking through every detail was an interesting challenge for our team, which we successfully met.
O2 Universum Prague
For the construction of this multifunctional arena we supplied more than 330 m of glass railings for the stands combined with a stainless steel strip, 180 m of stair railings, glass railings for escalators and other locksmith elements and steel structures.
The O2 universum is a multifunctional congress centre in Prague's Libeň, located next to the multipurpose hall O2 arena along Českomoravská Street. It is spread over four floors and has 21 halls with a total capacity of ten thousand visitors.
