All-glass railings
All-glass railings, also called self-supporting glass railings , combine aesthetics, safety and functionality. This type of railing performs a protective function, preserves the open character of the space and lets in a high amount of light.

Technical security for large projects
For more than 20 years we have been linking the design, optimization, production and assembly of steel structures and locksmith elements. Thanks to our experienced team, we ensure quality, continuity and deadlines even for technically demanding projects.

Advantages of all-glass railings
All-glass railings are a common choice for interiors and exteriors. The main advantages include:
High light transmission: glass does not obstruct the passage of light, allowing for better illumination of the space and maintaining the visual openness of the space.
Clean architectural expression: Transparent glass promotes the open character of the space.
Easy to maintain: Glass surfaces are easy to clean and maintain, ensuring their long-term functionality.

Design options
All-glass railings are made to measure and allow for different design options that can be tailored to specific requirements:
Glass types: You can choose clear, extra clear, tinted, milky, smoked or sandblasted glass. The glass can be combined with insertable coloured films. Other options include printing the glass with graphic motifs.
Anchoring types: glass railings can be anchored with stainless steel targets or linear U-profiles. These profiles are made of aluminium or galvanised steel.
They are tailoredto the composition in question: If the railing is installed where there is a more complex composition, we will design the optimal substructure for the railing to ensure that the railing is at the optimal height and is structurally compliant. The solution also includes subsequent plating and flush fitting with adjacent structures.

Safety and standards
Safety is an essential requirement for all-glass railings:
Laminated and tempered glass: The use of laminated (VSG) and heat-strengthened glass (ESG) ensures high durability and safety. In interiors, VSG ESG 88.2 (16.76 mm thick) is most commonly used. In exterior applications, thicker glass VSG ESG 1010.2 (thickness 20.76 mm) is sometimes used due to high wind loads.
Wealso have experience in supplying all-glass railings for the highest load rating C5, which is used for sports halls. Take a look at our implementation at the O2 Universum Prague. Here, each metre of railing is planned for a load of 500 kg!
Legislation: In the Czech Republic, the ČSN 743305 standard applies, which specifies the height of railings according to the risk of free fall and other requirements for railings. Read more in our article on requirements for glass railings.

Maintenance of all-glass railings
The maintenance of glass railings is simple:
Cleaning: the glass can be cleaned normally with a damp cloth.
Protecting the surface: Special products based on nanotechnology can be used against fingerprints and limescale deposits.
We have experience
We design all-glass railings for residential and commercial projects where safety, clean detail and the right technical solution are important. We will design a solution according to the requirements of the specific project, with an emphasis on functionality, safety and clean integration into the architecture. Below are selected glass self-supporting balustrade implementations.
