These are balcony structures where part of the static load is transferred to the balcony column legs. This construction allows for almost unlimited balcony unloading and is suitable where there is space for anchoring the legs to the ground.
Balconies mounted on bars
A modern and clean solution allowing for a subtle balcony slab construction and omitting any additional supports and legs. A suitable solution for renovations and conversions of buildings where structural conditions do not allow the use of anchoring at handrail or floor level.
Balconies anchored at handrail level
Anchoring balconies at handrail level is suitable if you do not want to use visible tie rods and the building's statics allow you to transfer part of the load through the perimeter wall. The balcony is either anchored to the left or the proven solution of hidden anchoring hooks can be used, where the balcony is defacto suspended.
Balconies fixed at floor level
The most aesthetically pleasing solution, as it dispenses with any additional supports (columns, bars, anchoring at the handrail), allowing the use of, for example, self-supporting glass balustrades. This solution places high demands on the statics and is ideal if it is taken into account already at the construction preparation stage.
