Port 7, Prague - Ocelová lávka
Praha - Holešovice

On the Port 7 project, we implemented a steel footbridge connecting the complex with Holešovice railway station. It was a distinctive structural element that combines technical robustness, precision manufacturing and strong architectural expression.
The footbridge, weighing over 25 tonnes, is fitted with stainless steel mesh railings and designed to withstand the demands of everyday use and visual clarity. It is the combination of function, detail and urban scale that makes this an extremely strong reference.

Design solutions in public space
The footbridge is not only a link between the buildings and the station, but also a distinctive element of the public space. During the design and implementation, it was important to manage the statics, connections and assembly so that the resulting structure would look light while retaining the necessary robustness.
Railing detail and operational resistance
The footbridge includes a stainless steel mesh railing that complements the steel structure while meeting operational and safety requirements. The detail was designed to function in a heavily used environment and not visually detract from the character of the overall structure.
